About
Hello there! My name is Riccardo Solazzi (TheZal online) and I’m a software engineer. Even if I always felt like a Dev, I started doing it for work in the 2017 starting with C#. In my carrer I’ve been using differents frameworks and languages in differents environments. I’ve been a web dev mainly focusing on the backend (REST + DB) but I also can fix some issues on the frontend (Angular). The tech stack that I’m using right now at work is a combination of Python for the backend (FastAPI), Docker for the shipping of the application, PgSQL for the database and Angular for the frontend but I like to study and experiments with different technologies, like Typescript and Rust. I’m also a Docker enthusiast and I try to containerize everything. I run a blog for fun called TheZal and I love to share my experience with others: that’s why I started to experiment the public speaking in 2023 (more info in the Projects section).
